Congratulations to Michelle for receiving the Robson & Robertson Award!

We are excited to announce that our PhD Candidate, Michelle VanCompernolle, has just received a Robson & Robertson Award! This award will help further Michelle’s PhD progress and expand her professional network through participating at an upcoming international conference. Michelle will also be using this award to visit her supervisor Dr Ana Sequeira in her new role at The Australian National University to advance her work towards developing a threat index for marine megafauna as part of the MegaMove initiative.

The Robson & Robertson Awards are awarded in honour of Professor Alan Robson and Emeritus Professor Alistar Robertson and are designed to provide opportunities to enhance the work of early career marine researchers through travel for fieldwork and accessing key equipment and expertise. Michelle has joined several previous SequeiraLab members who have also benefited from this this award, including Hannah Calich, Lucy Arrowsmith, Charlotte Birkmanis, and Lauren Peel.
