Join Sequeira Lab members in a ‘Shark Tales’ Livestream tomorrow!

21-April-2020 (written by Lucy Arrowsmith)

Do you need a change from your isolation routine? Want to know more about life as a shark scientist and what it’s like to do research in the field?

Well, you are in luck! The UWA Oceans Institute is hosting a livestream to bring science, education and entertainment to the comfort of your living room!

On Wednesday 22nd April at 5pm AWST (10am GMT), our members Charlotte, Hannah, Lauren, and Lucy will be joining a panel of shark scientists from The University of Western Australia and Stanford University to chat about their shark tales.

This panel of women in STEM will be giving insights into what it is like to work in the marine environment, revealing some of their favourite shark moments, and also sharing some of their fieldwork fails. Follow along to the livestream here and ask them any questions you may have about sharks and getting into marine science.

We look forward to this livestream and to know if you have enjoyed it!
